Dear generous supporters, my name is Peter Nhiany. I am reaching out to you on behalf of SUPER STAR FOOTBALL CLUB. SUPER STAR FOOTBALL CLUB is a team comprising of young men mostly from South Sudan’s diverse communities.
The members of the team are students studying in Koboko, Uganda and other towns in close proximity with Koboko. What those young men love to do is go to school and play soccer. Isn’t that wonderful?
Majority of them were displaced by the current political crisis in the country. I have been personally supporting this soccer program from 2012 to present with modest assistance from few friends.
Now is the time I need the support of amazingly caring people like you to give those young men an opportunity to unlock their potential their sport.

(1) Instantaneous Summary Super Star Football Club (SSFC)
To/for Super Star Football Club family, soccer is about more than playing a game. It's about empowering youth and creating opportunities. It's about building a network of people who are dedicated to improving the lives of youth in their own community.
Super Star FC players participate in organizes youth sports leagues to enhance:
(a) social groundwork,
(b) to promote education and equality through mentoring and community service.
(c)To build leadership skills, and to develop confliction resolution skills.
With this project, we are taking our initial youth enrichment football program, supported by our potential donors and their community members.
(2) What is the pressing issue, problem, or challenge?
Youth lack positive role models and mentors who can help them overcome the challenges they face every day resulting from war trauma, limited-to-no access to standard health, education, and technology infrastructure and sport.
Youth continue to drop out of primary and secondary school before graduating and there are very few extramural and/or recreational activities for youth to engage in which leaves much idle time which leads to doing unproductive acts.
While youth of all ages love the game of soccer and play often, there is practically no an organized sport which remains a concern for the community.
(3) How will this project solve this problem?
Benefits of Soccer to Youth and the community.
(a) Positive social relationship among the youth.
(b) Everyone come together around the global game.
(c) Building a soccer league in a community creates a positive interplanetary for youth and strengthens the community around the field.
(d) Coaches paired as mentors who run soccer training practices and compete in games within a season.
(e) Committed to one life skill building block for health fitness.
(4) Imminent Long Term Impact
This project will impetus the long term vision of creating leagues across the South Sudan communities to engage many of the boys and even girls in safe, competitive youth soccer leagues owned and operated by leaders in their community.
We are starting with buying and asking donations for training equipment , coaches training and small competitions with other local organized teams. Once local ownership within communities advances, we shall support full seasons of various leagues-play and provide other incentives for our players. This program will open doors for our youth to advance to professional soccer player.
The potential to provide lasting opportunities for youth of all ages is very real. Through sports, we can affect the ways in which Youth positively interact with each other’s and society. Insignificant competitions, are replaced by heathy social interactions
In summary, by engaging the youth in sport activities, they will develop and promote:
1) Leadership skills.
2) Positive social interaction among themselves.
3) promote conflict resolutions
4) Self-esteem
5) self Discipline
6)Healthy fitness
7.) Pride
8) Physical fitness
9) Peace and respect for one another in their communities.
10) keeps them out of troubles by reducing too much down time by playing soccer.
