Unexpected Traumatic Loss of Toddler

Violet Skye Rodela, our happy, healthy, always smiling, sweet 14 month old little girl passed away while taking a nap on 3/11/2015.
Her big sister Rosemary and I found Violet unresponsive when we went to get her up to play. I performed CPR while Matthew (Violet Skye's PApa) called 911. She was taken to Kaiser hospital by the Irvine Fire Department staff who responded to the call. Every attempt to bring her back to us was made. To our extreme sadness she never responded.
After coroners were unable to find any cause for her death, her passing falls under SUDC (Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood). Visit SUDC.org to learn more.
We are taking the necessary steps towards healing our broken hearts and dealing with the trauma we experienced, but it takes time.
We really need your help.
This is very difficult to ask for but at the urging of family and friends we are asking for help to pay our bills (mortuary services, memorial expenses, rent, utilities, food and other expenses directly related to our little girls passing). Rosemary is in need of dental work. We also would like to adopt a tree in Violet's honor to create a place where family and friends can visit.
It is recommended by both our therapists to not return to work yet. Despite this Matthew is looking for a job. I am unable to at this time. I'm not ready and I would not be an asset to the REI department at Kaiser where I enjoy helping others have the families they desire. The same department that helped our dreams of a family come true with the miracle of our two daughters.
It would be better for our little family to be together while we figure out this new way of life.
Our new "normal" as it is often said.
We miss and grieve every day the loss of our Violet Skye.
We are thankful for our friends and family who have helped us as much as they can.
