Kian's Journey

This is Kian.He is five years old and lives with his mum Becky, Dad Vall and older sister Ashlyn is Elm Park. He started at Scargills Primary School in September and like all small boys he loves playing foootball with his mates.
But Kian has a cancer called Rhabdomyosarcoma in case it is located in the testicles. Following surgery to remove one testicle he began Chemotherapy in April / May. The doctors at Great Ormond Street Hosptial originally told Becky & Vall that he would also need a course of Radiotherapy. The doctors have now said that this treatment may cuase more problems than it helps and they want Kian to have a less invasive treatment called Proton Therapy in the USA- something which is not available her in the UK. The nations Health will pay for Kian's treatment and travel / accomodatioin but not any of the other expenses.
We need to make sure that Kian has both his mum and dad with him supporting him during this difficult time.
