2014-15 South Yearbook Saints

Donation protected
Denver South High School is a beautifully diverse school in the Washington Park neighborhood of Denver. We are a DPS Newcomer Magnet, attracting students who are not only new to the United States, but new to public education. Over 40 different languages are spoken in our halls. Some of the tougher numbers to share is that 72% of our student body qualifies for free or reduced lunch. That's 32% above the state average.

The South High Yearbook staff is dedicated to representing each and every one of these students in our 2014-15 yearbook. This year we are focusing on highlighting The Individuals of our school's community with our theme: Humans of South High. While we are highlighting as many students as possible, there is a large population here that cannot afford to purchase a book filled with their own stories and memories that will last a lifetime.

This is where you come in! This is the second year of our Yearbook Saints program, which allows businesses, families and individuals to purchase books for deserving kids here at South. As a perk, we are recognizing each of our Yearbook Saints in a page dedicted to you and your generosity in this years book. Last year we were able to give 38 students a yearbook for free based on teacher and staff recommendations. This year we'd like to double that number.

Please consider buying a book for $60, although donations of any size are appreciated and will be recognized.

We thank you for your consideration!
