Little Love for Taihen

First I'd like to say thank you for taking the time to read my little guys story.

On May 23 2009 I fostered two of the most adorable and in need kittens from a shelter up in the Bronx... They needed food, shelter, and more importantly love.

Rah Rah was the runt, and Taihen was a wee bit of a trouble maker. Taihen has always been the attention seeker. He would frequently lay on my belly for rubs and snuggles. Knead and purr up a storm before drifting off. And boy was he ever vocal, like he was really having a conversation with you about his day. He was always busy knocking things over and testing the limitations, his big eyes made it difficult to stay mad at him though. Rah-Rah was more of your bathroom companion, checking the underwear of the day while giving you motivation and I guess what you'd call consolation about your potty usage. Both of them lovable in their own way.

Unfortunately life sometimes doesn't stay blissful.
As of Sunday, June 28 2015, Taihen started to behave strangely. As the week went on his health started to decline. He went from puking right after eating to puking water. He started to distance himself and stay in their litter box. He even went from being his vocal self to complete silence. His movement became minimal. He just hasn't been the same playful little kitty my friends and family have come to know and love.

I took him to the vet last night and he was diagnosed with a blockage in his urethra and needed his bladder drained immediately or it would prove to be fatal. The procedure was said to take at a minimum of two days possibly more..

Ladies and gentlemen I'm an individual who takes no pleasure in sharing her responsibilities and writing this has honestly been one of the most difficult things to do. However, I am putting my pride to the side and asking for help. I'm not requesting for the full amount, just enough to keep me from being overwhelmed financially. As I stated before this isn't easy for me to request, but every little bit of help would be deeply appreciated.

Thank you in advance. Even if you don't donate, I appreciate you taking the time to read this and would love it if you could share his story.

Any questions about Taihen and his condition I'd be more than happy to answer.

Thank you again and have a good day.

-He was picked up from one hospital and transferred to the other. He had to wear the 'Cone of Truth' so he wouldn't distrupt the catheter during travel. Taihen was more alert and moving about but still not very vocal and a little distant. He had his bladder drained so the fear of rupture was decreased. He still needed a catheter becuase his bladder had bad inflammation, crystals and grit.

June 3 2015
-Consistant urine production, he is eating and seems a bit more comfortable. Per his doctor his kidney values have improved. Taihen is doing better but will stay over the weekend to make sure he stays that way.

I would like to sincerely thank everyone who has donated, me and Taihen appreciate every little bit!
