Historic Cemetery Restoration Fund

Hello Friends...my name is Dan Allen and I restore abandoned, neglected, and vandalized cemeteries, especially across the state of Tennessee.  In these sacred places the mortal remains of our ancestors rest in hope of an afterlife.  Their burial patterns and grave markers provide evidence of the religious diversity of our great nation, as well as tell us about their lives and service to our communities.  Some of the cemeteries I service are well-funded by friends and family. But others have little or no funding.and fall by the wayside because I simply cannot  afford to do more with the limited personal funding I can provide.  Right now, I need restoration funding for four specific projects; the neglected Hamilton Church Cemetery and the Cane Ridge Church Cemetery in Davidson County, Old City Cemetery in Murfreesboro, and East View Cemetery in Alexandria, DeKalb County.  Old City Cemetery in Murfreesboro was placed on the Tennessee Preservation Trust's Ten Most Endangered Historic Sites list in 2008 and the Hamilton Church Cemetery in Antioch was placed on Nashville's Nine Most Endangered Historic Sites list in 2014.  I have adopted these endangered cemeteries in hopes of stabilizing and restoring them despite their lack of funds.  Between the four sites, there are hundreds of neglected or vandalized gravemarkers in dire need of repair.  Please help and thank you for your kind considerations.  Examples of my work can always be found by googling my name and the term's "archaeology" or "cemetery." My personal and professional references can be supplied upon request...
