Our goal is to move to Colorado with our daughter and help a deserving family in the process become homeowners.
We are seniors and live on a fixed income. As we age and our ability to take care of our home and ourselves deteriorates, we need to move, to live with our daughter, in Colorado. We would like to be able to help a hard working young family become homeowners, by giving them our lovely home in Streator, Illinois.
Our house is a single story ranch close to many amenities and schools, parks, in a nice part of town. Some of the features include heated floors, heated garages, and central air.
We will team up with an community type organization to help locate a deserving family. We anticipate $11,000 in moving expenses across the country, our mortgage payoff is about $85,800 and roughly $7,000 for fees. A total of $108,000 is needed for this to become a reality.Any and all donations will be gratefully appreciated. Please help us make this happen so a worthy, hard-working family can have the "American Dream" of home ownership.
