Yonkers African Heritage Festival

The Yonkers African American Heritage Committee is a cultural organization that helps run and create events for the African American Community in Yonkers New York. We are asking for donations to show the city of Yonkers that although they have decided to cut the funding, they cannot cut our Pride. We can all assist in achieving this goal. Please support this moment of pride. It works alongside various different companies and organizations as well. It works with the Downtown Yonkers BID in the attempt to rejuvenate the downtown area of Yonkers where there is a high population of African Americans.They also work alongside the Nepperhan Community Center to host events such as Blood Drives for African Americans. The Yonkers African American Heritage Committee is also very present in Yonkers during Black History Month. They help host the African American Heritage Festival as well as the African American Parade in Yonkers.
