Glenn Anderson Memorial fund

As some of you may know by now, we lost my father, Glenn Anderson, suddenly this morning 6/30/2015.

He lives on in the hearts of his brothers and their families, as well as his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.  Above all he lives in the heart of our mother, GayLynn Anderson , his wife and partner for life since they met in Lubbock, where he attended Texas Tech in the early 1960s.

We will always remember his friendly smile, with his hand always out to shake ours in welcome, his (almost always funny, always corny) humor. We also will remember his generosity, always, I mean ALWAYS there to help any one of us who was in need, especially if he could teach you how something works by drawing it on a piece of paper.Always the engineer. In fact I can't think of a single person within our family that he hasn't or wouldn't have given the shirt off of his back to help.

My father also had a strong aversion to thinking about, or planning for, his death.  We have recently learned that he refused advice over the years to get a life insurance policy or burial plan.  This circumstance, and the suddenness of his death have caused challenges to our ability to cover the all-too-soon expected cost of his internment.

I am starting this Go Fund Me in case anyone is interested in donating directly to help with the funeral home and internment costs we face in the immediate future.  Please do not feel any obligation to donate, as your caring and love at this time has made so much of a difference already.  And certainly do not do so if it causes you any hardship.

Thank you!
