Greetings, and thank you for taking the time to read my mother's story.
My mother, Dana, passed away Saturday June 27, 2015. Just a few days ago. A loving mother, daughter, sister, mentor, and friend to say the least.
She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2012, she had a mastectomy then chemotherapy following the surgery. We thought we caught it. In 2014 it had already spread to her left hip and other bones in her body. She had another surgery, then radiation to kill any remaining cancer cells that were not detected. Again we thought we were doing good, and boom... She ended up in the hospital, on her birthday at that, on May 9, 2015. The cancer had came back and become extremely aggressive. It had even spread to her spine, leaving her close to paralyzed. We then did radiation again to try and slow the cancer down. Did I mention how great of an attitude she had? Man oh man, she was in great spirits the entire time as she fought for her life. She still found the strength to help Anyone in need during that time. Two weeks ago we were notified that the cancer was terminal. We all came together as a family to find all natural medications to help her fight. Even looked for treatments outside the country. She requested to be brought home from the hospital. Ten days later she passed at the age of 52. We love my mother so much, and are asking for help to lay her body down to finally rest in peace. She leaves behind three children, with the youngest being 16 and 2 grandsons with the youngest being 3 months. Anything and everything would help. God bless.
