Fix Samson's infection

Samson, my beloved dog just turned one year old today. He seemed to not be feeling well for a couple days, so we took him to the vet. Only to find out he is in big trouble and needs expensive surgery and follow up care. There's fluid in his chest cavity as a result of an infection that needs to be removed and followed up with several days (at least) of 72 hour care and oxygen for which he will be hospitalized at the vca. I personally don't believe in ending an animal's life because of money- My sister and I are trying to scrape money together to pay for this but in all honesty, we can't afford it. I am asking for help from our friends and family to help pay for Samson's care - anything helps!! Thank you
