I have been involved in a very special event for six years--The Grand Tour to Benefit Leader Dogs for the Blind. The Grand Tour is a 3-day, 350-mile personal watercraft (Seadoo/jetski) ride on Lake Michigan, from Mackinaw City in the North to Holland in the South.
Yes, I am going to ride 350 miles on my Seadoo in the Big Lake--again.
Though based in Michigan, the Leader Dogs organization trains dogs to assist the visually impaired all over the USA, at no cost to the recipient, and is privately funded.
Each rider must raise a minimum of $500 to participate.
Would you consider sponsoring me this year? Your donation is tax-deductible, and goes directly to the Grand Tour organization. It is not used to cover any of my expenses for the ride.
My part of the commitment is vacation time, cost of fuel/driving to and from the event, cost of 5 hotel nights, some meals, and about $300 in watercraft fuel.
