Lesotho ….most people can’t even pronounce it, let alone know what it is.

Let’s talk about this tiny landlocked country in the middle of South Africa which has the second highest prevalence of HIV/AIDS rate in the world.

·         Lesotho (li-soo-too) is a beautiful, mountainous country with a naturally stunning landscape and friendly, welcoming people

·         With the second highest HIV-prevalence rate in the world, infants and children bear the brunt of the impact with an estimated 74,000 orphans, 10,000 of them being HIV-positive

·         Due to the remote nature of the rural villages in Lesotho, many people still don’t have access to widely available life-saving medication; only a quarter of children in need are receiving it

Enter Touching Tiny Lives; an organization dedicated to caring for the orphaned and vulnerable children in Lesotho.  Through direct care in the Safe House located in rural Mokhotlong, as well as through outreach programs that serve families in remote villages surrounding Mokhotlong, the Basotho staff works tirelessly to save these tiny lives, one child at a time.

A group of dedicated TTL supporters from Minnesota and Wisconsin has come together with a personal mission of raising funds and awareness of how Touching Tiny Lives is working to solve the most critical needs of the rural Basotho people. Our goal is to offer a glimpse into the Lesotho culture and its people, highlighting some of the challenges that exacerbate the current HIV/AIDS crisis in that land.

PLEASE DONATE NOW TO HELP SAVE LIVES – ONE CHILD AT A TIME!
