Hi there! My name is John, and I'm a 38 year old on disability. Currently, I'm living in an apartment that I generally share with my son. Unfortunately, he's made a couple of mistakes and is currently spending time in a correctional facility. When he gets out, according to the complex manager, he will be unable to live here with a criminal record. I want to be able to continue to provide for him, and the best way to do that will be to buy a house. The only downside is that I won't be able to do that until November.
The house that I am looking at is a modest two bedroom home next door to my mother's house. I feel that being in a quiet neighborhood with the influence of myself and my mother, that my son can get turned back to the right path. It would also help my mother very much, as she is in her 70's, and can't do as many things as she used to. I would like to be able to help her out as well, and with a little bit of help, I can do that.
I currently have enough for a small down payment, but not enough for closing costs, the appliances that will need to be purchased(washer, dryer, refridgerator), or for the rent that will need to be paid to the apartment complex until they rent out the apartment again. I am hoping that with this goal, I may also be able to put a little more money down on the house as well.
Even if the house that is right next door to my mother doesn't work out, there are other homes nearby in the neighborhood that would possibly work out as well. I really want to make this happen, as I feel it would benefit all three of us.
I wish that I could do this on my own, but I cannot, and I must ask for help in this endeavor. I thank you for anything you can provide, even if it's only telling others of this campaign.
