Mon nom est Sylvain Pharand, en 2008 j'ai été diagnostiqué d'un cancer du nez et du ganglion très virulent. Mon médecin, après une série de traitement de radiothérapie et une récidive, m'a bêtement annoncé qu'il me restait possiblement pas plus de 6 mois à vivre et il m'a référé à un collègue qui lui ne m'a pas abandonné, il s'est battu avec moi, il ne m'a jamais lâché.  Aujourd'hui, 10 ans plus tard, je n'ai plus aucune trace de cancer mais le chemin a été des montagnes russes. J'ai subie 125 traitements de radiothérapie, 1 semaine de curiethéraphie et plusieurs interventions chirurgicales, dont l'ablation du nez, de l'oeil et de la joue gauche. 

J'aimerais pouvoir me faire greffer des cheveux, j'ai perdu tous mes cheveux en avant à cause de la radiothérapie et la curiethéraphie.  Malheureusement ce traitement est très dispendieux et je n'ai pas l'argent pour le payer.

Aussi, n'ayant pu voyager durant ces 10 années de combat, trop risqué d'attraper un virus ou une bactérie.  J'aimerais réaliser mon rêve d'aller à Hawaï avec ma famille.

My name is Sylvain Pharand, in 2008 I was diagnosed with cancer of the nose and ganglion that was very virulent . My doctor, after a series of radiotherapy treatment and a recurrence, foolishly announced to me that I probably had no more than 6 months to live and he referred me to a colleague who did not abandon me, he fought with me, he never let go. Today, 10 years later, I have no trace of cancer but the road has been a roller coaster. I underwent 125 radiotherapy treatments, 1 week of brachytherapy and several surgeries, including the removal of the nose, eye and left cheek.

I wish I could have hair transplant, I lost all my hair in the front because of the radiothérapie and brachytherapy.  Unfortunately this treatment is very expensive and I do not have the money to pay for it.

Also, unable to travel during these 10 years of combat, too risky to catch a virus or bacteria. I would like to fulfill my dream of going to Hawaii with my family.
