Pack H2O is an organization that four local ELCA churches are combining their efforts to support in effort to help supply nations in water crisis with H20 Water Backpacks.
These packs will:
*Ease the burden of water transportation.
*Reduce water storage contamination.
*Save lives from pain, injury, disease and death.
*Reduce incidence of water borne illness due to the removable liner which can be sanitized.
*Send children back to school and adults back to work because the incidences of illness are reduced.
Your donation of just $10 will help provide one more backpack to help another child or woman carry safe water back to their villages.

*Nearly 1 billion people have no access to safe water.
*The problem is compounded when safe water becomes contaminated in transoport of jerrycans or buckets.
*The pain, injury, illness and death caused by this method of water transport can be prevented.
*Women and children in water-stressed regions walk an average of 3.5 miles daily to meet basic water needs.
*Worldwide one out of every five deaths of children under the age of five is due to a water related illness.
*In developing countries, dirty water is a greater threat to human safety than violent conflict.
