New Camera Gear

For the inhabitants of Bushwick with have a four-legged son or daughter who frequent the dog run at Maria Hernandez Park, they will often find themselves face-to-face with the dog whisperer of Bushwick: Daniel Nogueira.

He walks your dogs, trains them, and pretty much lives with most of them. On top of doing this, he takes pictures of the dogs in the run and posts them onto his Instagram . From action shots of them jumping and romping around to a lazy dog day afternoon snapshot, and even weird and quirky pictures of... a Chinese Crested's hair. We've had our fair share of seeing our pooch immortalized onto web fame. 

However, on Tuesday, June 23rd, at around 12:30 p.m., while tending to the dogs around the run, someone stole his bag, with all of his camera equipment inside it. If you've seen his pictures, you'll know that isn't a cheap camera at all. He's spent well over $4,500 on all his equipment, and now he's without it.

This fundraiser is to help our community dog whisperer in getting a camera and new set of lens. He's given so much to everybody around the neighborhood, often going above and beyond what is required. We should give him something in return for all his work.
