Get Abby a Wheelchair Van

Hello all, allow me to introduce you to my hero; my amazing cousin Abby. Abby is a beautiful thirteen year old girl who lives with her Mother and Step-Father in Dickson, Tennessee.

Abby has a full heart, a bright smile and an indomitable spirit. Abby was born with Down Syndrome and, due to complications after birth, also has Cerebral Palsy with Spastic Quadriplegia, significant Global Developmental Delays, Reactive Airway Disease, Sleep Apnea, GERD with great risk of aspiration, Dysphasia, Hypothyrodism, Type 1 Diabetes, and Scoliosis. Abby is Non-Verbal, fed through a g-tube and is wheelchair dependent. Last year Abby had surgery on her back (Posterior Spine Fusion) and had a Baclofen Pump inserted.  Due to her recent surgery, she has to be lifted in such a way that supports her spine at all times.



The recent surgeries have greatly limited Abby's mobility and her family is unable to afford a van with a lift for her wheelchair. This one item could open up a world of possibilties for Abby!
