Hello, Rhiannon here!
As many of you know, it's been my dream to open a boutique since I was a teenager. I got my first boutique job in high school as an intern doing research for my culminating project graduation requirement, and have spent the last 10 years working as a sales associate, buyer, merchandiser, assisstant manager, and manager. I've worked in resale, high end, vintage, and shoes, and learned SO much from my many teachers along the way (special shout-outs to Chrese, Ron, & Michelle!!)
I feel rich in experience, but it's been a struggle to save enough money. I will be 27 at the end of July, and am so ready to make this leap and begin the next phase of my career. I'm reaching out to you, my dear friends and family, because I know you believe in me and want to see me turn my dreams into reality!
Growing my small jewelry business into a full-on boutique filled with clothing, jewelry, home and giftware is a big jump with much higher overhead costs. I need your help to raise enough money so that I can qualify for a loan. I'm going to need about $50,000 to open my doors and get me through my first year of business. My minimum goal here is to raise $10,000, but anything above and beyond that means less I have to borrow from the bank. This campaign itself is also costly: if I reach my goal of $10,000, GoFundMe gets close to 1K of those donations.
Each individual who donates $50 or more will receive a VIP invite to an exclusive soft opening party, where you will be the first to see the store revealed! I will wine and dine you, and you will receive 20% off any purchase you make during the party!
