Hi my husband was medically discharged from the Armed Forces in 2002, when his career was cut short after a hit and run which left him at the age of 20 with his right leg above knee amputated, sever nerve damage to his left leg and a shattered pelvis amoungst other injuries, he became a shell of his former self and was very with drawn. He rarely left the house and didnt socialise. In 2012 after 10 horrific years i pushed him into sports and now he is a changed man, sports has helped him loads and dramatically changed our families life. We have 3 small children and his ultimate aim is to make me and them proud but he wants to become the best athelete he can.

He won Gold at the invictus games in wheelchair basketball.
He won Gold at hand cycling in the warrior games trials along with a silver in archery team event and wheelchair basketball.

He is currently at the Warrior games and has won Bronze in the hand cycling with 5 futher events to do.

He is very determinded and will push himself as far as he can go. He would like to compete in cycling but also he would like to take our children on bike rides like "normal" dads do, he has been though hell and back to get to where he is today and if you could donate towards his handcycle that would be amazing.
