Chain of Hope has been through a number of transitions since incorporating in 2010. In recent months we have embarked on the greatest one yet. With the rising cost of rent and need for space, on July 1st, the Board purchased a property to call our own! This property will allow us to provide much more space, inside and out, for our dogs, and improve the efficiency of operations overall. We are not intending to increase the size of the program, but serve animals in our care better. Our donors’ support is the very most valuable asset to our work, without the support and commitment of our LINKS, there would be no program, no outreach, no support for owners trying to do good, but needing help to do so, no pulling dogs out of hell holes, no mending animals on the streets waiting to die alone without medical intervention.
Our program keeps administrative costs very low so we can dedicate resources to as many animals as we possibly can. Diligence and planning in managing our finances over the last several years and the generosity of some key supporters have made this move possible. But there is more work to do and we need your help in making it all happen. We purchased a foreclosed property that needs a lot of TLC and that takes money. We are asking for your support to recoup costs of the major repairs, and help pay down our note. We have done our due diligence and secured contractors for the major needs and as we move through this process will solicit additional smaller needs, goods and services, from our LINKS, but what is needed right now is money. We have set a goal of $50,000. Know this is an investment in sustaining Chain of Hope long term without compromising our service to the community and the animals who need us. If each of our followers gave just $5, we would exceed that goal in no time. Please donate to our future and the future of animals in our community.
