Laura's Hope - Finding a treatment

Many people know Laura Kinchens beautiful bright smile. Either from her many years at Fat Boys or Bond Clinic everyone knows her for her bubbly personality and energetic smile. What most people never knew is Laura suffers from Isaac Syndrome. ( see here for explanation: http://www.riversideonline.com/health_reference/Nervous-System/AN00824.cfm ) Isaacs Syndrome is believed to effect 1 in 2 million people in the U.S. In the beginning because of the rare nature of the disorder many Dr's had very little if any answers to why she felt so tired, short of breathe or exhausted on most days. As time has passed we have learned more from our own research than even what most Dr's could tell us. At this point Laura's Dr's are searching for the right combination of medications to help with the symptoms but there is no cure. Just to have the insurance continue treatment for the disease we were forced into getting a blood test that only 3 facilities in the US were capable of doing that cost over $1200 dollars. At this point we are in need, we have 3 beautiful children and between the expensive Dr visits, medications and testing that they continue to do we have slowly drifted into a very bad place financially. We eventually lost our house but we know with our love and family we will continue to fight. I'm a very private person and if it hadn't come to this point I would never dream of asking for help.
