I am a 48 year old mother of three children and I am dying. My kidneys, heart, and liver are failing. I have had diabetes all my life, which has made these ailments worse.
In 2010, I suffered a severe burn accident, which resulted in a staph and MRSA infection. During that 3 month hospital stay, my mom died back in North Carolina. It ended up that they had to hold her body for 2 weeks, because I could not get there quickly.

The staph infection ate away the bone in my left second toe. That had to be amputated. As of 2015, the burns have healed but I still have many problens with my feet. They probably will never be the same again.
After some time out of the hospital, I suddenly woke up with no sight whatsoever. The doctors diagnosed me with diabetic retinopathy. I went through 4 eye surgeries to reattach the retinas, but they, in the end, did no good.
So here I am, almost five years later, and my family has been through so much.
We went through a period of homelessness in 2011, which lasted about a year. We finally found an apartment in mid 2012, which we lived peacefully in for three years. We moved to Arkansas because it is less expensive.
In February, I'm meeting with a specialist for a consult on finalizing the details of getting on the universal transplant list. I need a heart and a kidney.
My medical bills are covered by Medicare and Medicaid, but with all of my health problems I am not able to work. Our only income is through Social Security, which is $753/month. I know from firsthand experience of reading these GoFundMe campaigns, that all of this may seem like it is a far fetched story. But it is the truth and I'm not looking to make a fortune out of any of you.
I have a husband that I've been married to for 20 years, and seperated from for 15 of those, who does not pay his child support. If he paid what he owed I wouldn't be in this shape.
I'm trying to raise this money for household expenses (we don't have anything, not even a television. I just need to pay the basics: electric, rent, food, etc.), the retainment of an attorney to pursue my husband for child support (The STATE has been sitting on its behind for 5 years and has done nothing).
This site only allows a minimal amount of photos. I'm trying to find one person that cares enough to hear my story, to help me find an attorney, or help me pay for an attorney. I have every documentation that you could ever want to prove not only that I'm sick and dying, but that I'm broke, and my husband, along with the state, is not doing his part. When you live in one state and the absent parent lives in another, it is not easy to collect.
P.S - My children have never had Playstations, XBoxes, or any of those luxuries. We have not celebrated Christmas since 2004, except for the kindness of a church in Arkansas this year (2015), or we wouldn't have celebrated this year either.
Please email me and I'll gladly email you anything you need so I can send you anything you need to prove that I'm not spending money on any luxuries or drugs. I'm pleading with you to just give us a chance.
