Love and Prayers for the Ragsdales

Dearest friends and family of the Ragsdales,
Our hearts are heavy today as our sweet friends are in dire need of your help. Emmy is a dear friend of our family. Her husband, Steven, was involved in a horrific car accident earlier today, along with two others. Tragically, the other two souls passed away and were burned beyond recognition so identification is still taking place. Steven was driving off Ronald Reagan in Georgetown when he went off an overpass.
Tonight he remains in critical condition having already undergone two surgeries with another scheduled for tomorrow. Steven has been resuscitated 5 times without much response. Currently his conditions are as follows: 2 broken legs, broken arm, head trauma, a removed spleen and kidney, damaged bowels, along with severe burns on 20% of his body. Once he is stabilized he will be swiftly moved to the Brooke Army Medical Center Burn Unit in San Antonio, TX.
Emmy and Steven are lovely, active, members of our small community and have 4 beautiful children. He also has 2 beautiful children from his previous marriage who could also use your prayers. He has no insurance for himself and medical bills along with daily bills and travel expenses will soon be overwhelming the Ragsdales as Emmy is a stay at home mother. All donations will be sent directly to Emmy, along with your words of support and love.
A care calendar is also being set up so local friends and family can help with child care, meals, and house upkeep. I will update ASAP with calendar information and medical updates.
