Hi my name is Dan Brekke. I'm a traveling musician from Moorhead Minnesota, and the son of two school teachers. I've been playing for people since I was 5 years old, and continue to bring people joy, and the gift of music by singing, playing guitar, fiddle, piano, bass, banjo, steel guitar, and mandolin. dan-brekke.com
Entertaining is my passion, and I anticipate doing it for the rest of my life.
I also love to write my own songs. I've written over 40 songs, and I have a handfull that I would like to put on an album, however, I realize that in order to potentially get some national recognition I'll need a professionally done album. This is something that I dont have the funds for.
I'd love to go to Nashville and get a few of my original songs recorded so that I can start sharing them with the world! My goal is 8,000 dollars. At that rate I might be able to record and distribute a whole album!
I wouldn't ask for your hard earned money unless I truly thought I could make a difference in peoples lives.
