Help A Friend During Recovery

My good friend David, he is like a brother to me , is recovering from a prolonged illeness. He has a heart of gold and has always given to help family, friends and strangers. But now he really needs our help. He has been a teacher and football coach for 30 plus years. As a teacher he works with high school students who are at risk. Students who come from poverty and disfunctional families. Over the years many students have choosen to finish high school because of his encouragement, and often when I am with him these students come up and thank him. He is not able to work, and the income from teaching summer school and coaching will not be there to help him meet his expenses. My wish, and my ask, is that we raise funds so that (while recovering) the worries of meeting his expenses don't slow his recovery.
