My mother Barbara Bratton was born June 25, 1938 and passed away June 16, 2015 in Poplar Bluff Missouri.
She had a life insurance policy, but her caregiver let the policy lapse years ago without letting anyone know. All of my mothers jewelry and anything she had of value was stolen by someone who supposedly loved her. What's done is done, I would just like to lay my mother to rest. We have her burial plot and headstone already, my father took care of that before he passed away in 2002.
My mother was a stay at home mom and breast cancer survivor. She was an artist, she enjoyed painting. You could always find her artwork in nearly every room of the house. She was also a published poet, even with her limited education, she still poured her soul into the lines she wrote. She was married to my father, the love of her life, for 46 years. She had 4 children, 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren that will always love and miss her dearly.
