Give Hannah Her Sight!

Donation protected
The last year has been hard, with the loss of both my little furbabies, Eli and Dixie.  The house was so quiet and still without a dog. No life, no happiness.  I couldn't stand the emptiness in my heart, and in my home anymore. I went to the local shelter,  where I met Hannah.  I had seen her photo on their website. She was listed as "special needs". Well, Eli and Dixie had special needs, so I thought nothing of it. Maybe she just needed some daily medication. I was sure I could handle that! When the shelter staff brought her to me, I could see she was blind, and my heart sank. I thought to myself it was a deal breaker.  But, I figured she might like a visit and a walk anyway, then I would go home. Well, we visited and we walked, and then Hannah came home with me!  She is 7 years old, and she is blind from cataracts.  Her previous owner had tripped over her and broken a bone. The family talked her into giving her up.  She is a joy to have, and she has made my life whole again. She is a happy, outgoing girl who loves to go places and meet new friends. She loves her people, sitting on the couch, and listening to classical music. People ask if I am going to have the cataracts removed.  I will if I can afford it. That's why I am asking for help. Thanks in advance for your heartfelt donation. Any extra funds will be donated to the shelter Hannah was adopted from.
