Jonathan & Kate's Children's Book

Jonathan Poarch is currently in the process of publishing his first book and Kate Laing is the illustrator. Jonathan and Kate worked together at Camp Fontanelle for two summers as counselors.

Jonathan created the story, which the book is based on, one night when they were working together and it became a story they told to campers throughout the summer.

The story is esentially a raccoon's perspective about living at a summer camp. The book captures the magic of going to summer camp through highlighting activities like campfires, games, and building friendships as common elements to all summer camps.

The book is being published by Tate Publishing and will hopefully be completed in about six months. Jonathan and Kate are college students and are fundraising because of marketing  expenses and cost of future materials.
