WWYO Football Equipment Fund

Tax deductible
Dear Friend of the Community,

On behalf of the Woodridge Warriors Youth Organization (WWYO), we would like to extend an invitation to you and your company,  to become a sponsor for our 2015 season.  WWYO is a non-profit organization, established in 1963, by Nathaniel Briscoe, Chauncey Lyles, and Mason Clark.

The philosophy of the WWYO is one that promotes our mission by operating with fairness, accountability, humility, simplicity, transparency, and fiscal soundness.  In addition to:

(1) Providing youth with organized competition in a    safe environment

(2) Bring our youth closer together through common interest in sportsmanship and competition

(3) Instill the values of education

(4) Acquaint the players with the fundamentals of the game rules

(5) Teach sportsmanship, discipline and love of the game

(6) Encourage the players to maintain satisfactory grades in school and to emphasize the importance of keeping a proper relationship and balance between scholastic and athletic endeavors

August 2015 marks 52 years of WWYO services for the youth of our city and the surrounding area. The success and longevity of our organized sports and mentoring activities is largely due to the enduring support of Woodridge enthusiasts. Our program’s fantastic history serves as momentum, encouraging us to press forward. We are committed to serving our community’s children and will continue to lobby for the support we need to ensure that we are here for the future generations of Warriors.

We are looking for sponsors who are willing to donate any dollar amount to assist in our effort to replace our current  Football equipment and uniforms.  We want to make sure that our kids have equipment that keeps them safe from injury.   We especially need help in purchasing Concussion resistant helmets.

In Fiscal Year 2014, we served over 300 youths, boys and girls aged 5 to 15 years.  Currently participating in one or more of our programs.  We pride ourselves in serving any interested children, never excluding a player because they are unable to pay.  Last year, WWYO waived many registration fees, so thekids could play.

If your unable to help with our major expenses, please consider sponsoring a child, for $150.00  Check out our website for other ways to donate and help.

We welcome any comments or questions regarding the details of your sponsorship and look forward to forming a mutually beneficial partnership.

Thank you in advance for your consideration and support of WWYO

Sincerely,

WWYO Board of Directors
