Funds for Basketball Hoop

Venture For Success Preparatory Learning Center is a   non-profit organization that takes a holistic approach by helping children understand what it takes to become productive members in the community by focusing on topics that many of the children are not exposed to, such as gardening, recycling, technology and the importance of sustainability through famers markets.

Unfortunately, the children's

basketball play set was stolen in the very community in which they attend preparatory school everyday. The picture below depicts what was once the location of a basketball hoop, one of which has been passed down for more than 8 years (almost a decade). Jacqueline states: "It’s sad to know that the same community members would steal from children and use it for their own consumption."
