Hi,
My name is Payton English and I founded You Don't Have to be a Statistic in 2014. It's an organization that strives to educate young teenagers on safe sex, and healthy relationships while letting them know that they don't need to be a statistic. It also helps provide teen parents with the suport they need to make a better life for themselves and their child(ren).
Although YDHS is only in its' beginning stages, I want to branch out from public speaking and directly help one person in particular.
I have decided to sponsor one teen parent/couple and their child(ren) each year. My first Won't be a Statistic receipent is a former classmate of mine, Samantha Steadman, who is expecting her son in 2015.
The money raised will be used to be any necessities Samantha needs for her son including diapers, wipes, formula (if applicable), clothings, toys, books, etc.
I aim to raise $500, any more would be very much welcome and appreciated.
When you decide to donate to this great cause you will receive:
-a thank you letter from me
-your name written on a note attached to what is bought with your donation
