Support For Lynda Bernhardt

Hello friends and family my name is Ravi Patel. I recently recieved a kidney transplant which saved my life by my Professor Lynda Burnhardt. She is my hero and Angel. I was diagnosed with stage 5 kidney disease late 2012. Before my transplant I used to have to go to dialysis three days out of the week for about 4 hours each treatment which really put a strain on my life. I couldnt get out and do the things that normal kids my age did. All I wanted was to live a normal life. Ever since Lynda found out about my condition she didn't hesitate one bit and was committed on helping me get better. Even when our labworks were acting stubborn she never gave up hope. Lynda is a single mother with two kids one of which is curently in college and the youngest has high functioning Autism (formerly know as Asperege.) To say the least Lynda is a very strong lady. I wanted to set up this page to help her out becuase she turned down a job at GMC due to the fact that she was going to donate a Kidney to me. Also she is teaching summer classes at SGMC and not to many students are enrolled in the class meaning her pay gets cut in half. I wanted to help her out so she doesnt have to stress about making ends meet.  Lynda  is my Angel and I want to help any way I can She gave me a new lease on life this is the least I could do for her.
