Marshmellow's surgery & treatment fund

This little chin's name is Marshmellow, he is now two and a half years old and needs an important surgery done. He is amazing and has an extreme amount of energy; he's always happy to be interacted with. Something was different with him today however, he wouldn't come to the door of his cage to come and play like he normally would, little guy wouldn't even come over to take the snack I was offering him. Seeing as he wasn't acting like himself, I reached in and took him out myself. When I took him out, I noticed his eye was swollen shut and the area around it was damp. I immediately called the vet and had made an appointment for not even an hour later. When I brought him in, the veterinarian had taken him into the back to clean the area and see what was wrong with him. When she came back, she informed me that she had given him staples on his eye to keep it shut that it was probably a bacterial infection that caused this to happen. She said that his eye had sunken into his skull, was ruptured and that she was going to need to see him again within three days to determine how extensive the surgery would be. She gave me pain medicine for the little man and an antibiotic to try and fight the infection.

My godmother gave me this little furball for my 15th birthday and we've been inseparable since. I love him more than anything in the world and he had gotten me through one of the most difficult parts of my life. I can't see myself without him, even though he's only two, he means a lot. Time does not measure love.

Right now he is currently wearing a miniature cone to stop him from trying to itch the staples out of his eye and is taking both of the antibiotics.

I've used all the money that I've had saved up recently for his initial check up and medicine and I don't know how I'm going to be able to pay for his surgery when it happens. Any amount that's donated is helpful and really appreciated. Thank you in advance.
