Wildlife Rehabilitator Fund

I set this page up to help fund local wildlife rehabbers to get pre-vaccinated for rabies.  You only have 10 days from exposure to get treated if not prevaccinated.  The injections are $200 each (the cheapest we have found), each person needs 3 pre-exposure shots.  So each person needs $600 worth of Rabavert.  

We want to empower the people who put their lives at risk by coming in contact with vector species animals (raccoon, bats, skunks, fox & coyotes).  I know too many rehabbers who are not vaccinated at all.  They do not get paid for their selfless & exhaustive work. I want to start a fund to pay for their vaccinations so they can continue to do what they do without risking their lives.
