Whiteblackatcha Aboriginal Comedy Online

Donation protected
Short Summary
Whiteblackatcha has been doing Aboriginal sketch comedy online since it was birthed on Youtube and FB on Black Friday July 13th 2012. We now wish to produce another web series to celebrate our 2nd year anniversary and this year's NAIDOC week.

The team has brought you Deadly Chef, the Urban Tracker, Uncle Reggie, Ray Ray Boy and its most infamous character Frankie Jackson. Our first web series was funded by Metro Screen in 2012 (http://youtu.be/lGyeabGT9PU), our next instalment was Coz I'm Aboriginal by Frankie Jackson ( a piss take of 1D's song 'What Makes you beautiful') and this was funded through an Indiegogo campaign by you THE FANS (http://youtu.be/Dbkvoj6SC0w). Our latest breakthrough was last Christmas 2013 when we were commissioned by the ABC to do a cheeky Christmas quickie we called Black Santa (http://youtu.be/VgEycOTLIcM).

As you can see we have had some successes since we crewed up and started  writing and producing funny stuff BUT after rejection after rejection from hoity toity TV Execs, the team is running out of steam and to remain alive we REALLY NEED YOUR SUPPORT to stay online!!!!

What We Need & What You Get
We need anything you can give but it would be nice to reach our goal so that we can produce about 30 minutes of online TV. The money will be well spent on production and post production as you can see from our examples so far. We produced the first 20 minute web series on $15000, the music video parody on $2100 and the Christmas special on $10000.

If we don't reach our goal we will deliver something anyway, it may not be 30 minutes of hilarity and depending on WHAT WE GET EQUALS WHAT YOU GET so please give generously so we can do the same.

The Impact
This project is super valuable to you as contributor and to the rest of the world- yes really. We have other nationalities represented in comedy in this country yet we don't have the original people represented and we are some of the funniest people you will ever get to know. Another important thing is that through humour we can smash stereotypes, racism and humanise a people who have been dehumanised for too long. There is a gap in health statistics between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people but there is also a social gap in every sense of the word and humour can really help in building relations between our people just through laughing at one another.

Remember we have successfully written and produced top quality TV sketch comedy on low budgets and we have delivered something no one has done since 1973 when Aboriginal Actors/Activists Gary Foley and Bob Mazza did Dramatically Black as a one off for ABC TV.

Don't let us be a one off people AND keep us going so we can make this world just a little better.

Other Ways You Can Help
