William's Eye Surgery (BELIZE)

Dear Friends,
I am seeking your help for my son William Jones. He has been diagnosed with an eye condition called Keratoconus. This means his eye is coned shaped and not round. Because of this condition, he is not able to see well out of the right eye. This situation can be corrected through surgery. If not done, this can lead to him losing a part of his vision since it is currently in the advance stage.
He was just granted acceptance to university a few days ago where he wants to further his studies in Electrical Engineering. He is a humble person and is always thinking of how he can better himself in life and his community. He is just about to finish college, here in Dangriga, and is an honor student who maintains a Grade Point Average of over 3.00.
I am therefore asking for your help for my son to be able to correct his eye condition so he can continue to pursuit his dream of becoming an Electrical Engineer. The cost of this surgery is approximately US$5000 therefore any help we can receive will be greatly appreciated.
I was not able to get this campaign to be done in US$ as we are in Belize and our country is not supported by "gofundme". So we have asked a Canadian friend to help us with his information, in order for us to get this campaign going,hence the amount is CND$ 6500.
