West Indian R.A.F. Bnch
Donation protected
My name is Theresa (Morrison) Kilbride. My Father Eric Constantine Morrison came to England from Jamaica, with The West Indian R.A.F. in 1944 during WW2 and was stationed at Fradley Aerodrome, Nr. Lichfield, Staffs.
Whilst visiting the world famouse National Arboretum in Alrewas, Staffordshire, my family and I noticed that although there isn't a Monument to recognize all RAF personnel who served during WW2 including the Commonwealth, there isn't a specific mention of The est Indian RAF.
As my Father settled in Lichfield aftermarrying my Mother our family think it would be nice to have a Bench erected with my Father's name and the West Indian RAF on it.
The cost of the Bench, inscription and erection is £1.100. We are hoping to acheive this amount by December 2016. Can anyone help us to acheive this amount with a small donation? It would mean so much to myself siblings and families. Thank you So Much.
