Well Again is a 501c3 nonprofit that helps people embrace the adventure of life beyond cancer through travel, education, personal growth, and a daily dose of joy.
If you've been through it, you know: It takes more than medicine to build a great life beyond cancer. It takes purpose, laughter, and comradeship. It takes more courage than we ever thought we had.
So why is it that after the doctors move on, we find ourselves trying to build our whole new world alone?
Well Again is here to change all that. We're not about racing for the cure or telling you to eat your kale. We're not about looking backward. We're about helping you create your new life bigger and bolder than the old one.
With your generous help, we can unlock a $5,000 matching grant from Change the World Productions, a media company that's produced outstanding films, websites, and apps for clients like the American Red Cross, the Smithsonian, and Obama for America.
That enables us to create a robust online platform for Well Again. Why is that so important? Because we cancer voyagers have no way to find each other. Privacy regulations protect us... But they also keep us isolated after treatment.
With your help, we will build the first online community of cancer voyagers living on long-term. Wellagain.org will be a safe space where you can plan big adventures and meet friends to bring along. Where our Ways to Well Again workshops will show you how each of us is drawn to different beliefs and practices -- and how what we believe, helps us heal. Where you can inspire someone on the road behind you, just by being there.
We'll help you find YOUR Well Again.
This is a big mission. The biggest. Please help Well Again create a safe space for cancer voyagers to move beyond the past and jumpstart the adventure of our future.
Time is short! These matching grants are first-come-first-served. Please donate, if not for yourself, then for someone you love.
As we build the site, we will include an acknowledgment area where each donor of $50 or more has the option to have their name listed, or the name of the person in whose name the donation is made. Donations of $100 or more can include a photo as well.
