RCP Rollin' Tigers- Wheelchairs

Roger C. Peace  Rollin' Tigers: 

We are starting a wheelchair basketball team in Greenville to serve our surrounding areas.  We are in need Sports chairs and associated costs to equally participate against other teams, travel to tournaments, and have appropriate equipment to maximize performance. 

We want to provide an adaptive sport that children with a physical disability  can participate in that will give them the opportunity to be a "normal" kid and focus on ABILITY.   
-Through adaptive sport, as all sports and activities, children experience a program that will provide physical, social, and emotional outlets. They also gain a sense of belonging, confidence, improvement in academic performance, and being their physical best!!

With your help we can offer youth with a physical disability the opportunity to be a part of life changing activities!
There are no answers as to why anyone is chosen to have a disability, or suffer through a traumatic injury, but with certainty they should be able to focus and use their abilities to participate in an adaptive program that enhances a healthy lifestyle and confidence.

Unfortunately, adaptive equipment comes at a greater cost than your average sport equipment for the many sports that are available to able bodied children/youth in our area.
