Warm Heart Massage Therapy

Warm Heart Massage Therapy is the practice I have created over the last three years to help women in the Bay Area through Prenatal and Post Partum massage, as well as Swedish and Trigger Point therapy. Many of my clients tell me after their sessions how good they feel and that they have received some of the best massage of their lives. It is humbling, but it lets me know that I am doing exactly what I set out to do when I trained to become a massage therapist in 2010.


Since then, I have been growing my business, and took a new step last year when I offered group deals, such as Living Social and SF Gate. These have been a great way to connect with new clients, and I found them to be very beneficial to my practice.


That is, until I decided to partner with Groupon. That deal sold twice as many vouchers as any other service, and as much as I wanted to be able to handle it all, I was really overwhelmed. Since the payments with Groupon are made up-front, I found myself working for tips and barely getting paid for about three months straight (December, January and February) or even longer. It was at that point that I realized I could not continue to pay rent on my apartment and I moved out. And now - even though I have dedicated clients who have purchased packages and scheduled their massages months in advance - it seems likely that I am not going to be able to afford to stay in my rented studio either. It is such a beautiful space, and I will be so sad to leave. But even with the new clients who have joined me and who pay the rates that I charge, it is still not enough to keep me going. I am still seeing Groupon clients every week. It has been nearly a year since the deal was offered, and this is simply too long for my business to support that.


So this is where you come in. If you love what I do, and if you would like to see it continue, then you can help. Because I would like to be able to continue to honor my clients and work with them - especially if that's you!


The money that I raise will be put toward the next steps I will take to make that possible. It may be a new office, or a car so that I can do more home visits. Whatever it is, I cannot do this without your help.
