My dear friend, Yvonne Heidt, suffered a serious heart attack on Wednesday, June 3rd 2015. She was airlifted to Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, TX. She had immediate surgery to place a stent in the main artery in the lower valve of her heart. Her insurance is only going to pay 30% of her hospital stay, flight and surgery, and we all know how astronomical those bills will be, not to mention the medications and follow-up Dr. bills. Her partner Sandy will also have to miss a lot of work, so the bills will mount quickly.
Yvonne has given many of us great joy with her writing and her warm heart. If each of her author friends could pledge just the price of 1 book and each of her fans could do the same, it would go a long way in helping her to be able to pay down those huge bills. I challenge you do do this and to share this with your friends. If you can give more, GREAT!
