Hello,
My name is Benjamin & Jessica is my wife. We have been married for almost 10 yrs. We also knew each other as children growing up our familys went to the same church together. We are lucky enough to also have four wonderful children to call our own. Back in early 2013 my wife became very Sick and achy feeling! This progressively got worse, even after trying multiple different medications and treatments. After her trips to the ER, Doctors recomened she seek a professional opionion from a Reumotoligist. Then wrote her perscriptions to heal her stomach, releve pain and stop the vomitting. I have been helping to care for my wife ever since.
Jessica is suffering from; an Auto Immune Disease, Psoriatic Arthritis, Fybromyalga, Buldging discs in the upper and lower Spine, disc digenerative disease, and a number of others. She has been seeing a number of different specialist, my wife has not made any significant improvement yet, but we are still hopefull. There are treatments available we would like Jess to take advantage of, but with the loss of my wifes income and the costs of her Medical Care climbing, we can't afford it.
Our family is hoping we can get some help so she can receive some of these treatments that we haven't been able to and to also have her receive some she has that have helped, more frequently!
After all the complications Jess has had we are wanting to be more hollistic in our approach. We have heard and read of others having Great success, but its at a cost ! Patients like my wife run a much higher risk of developing Cancers and Cardiovascular issues along with a number of other things!
Some may not be familiar with these particular diseases, Psoriatic Arthritis and Psoriasis are Autoimmune diseases that affect you ligaments, tensions, muscles, bones, skin and create alot of pain and discomfort to the person. Psoriacitc Arthritis is heraditary they believe and only about 2% of the population suffer from it.. According to the Reumatologist, her ligaments and tensions are pulling away from the bone. For Jessica," it feels alot like long sharp daggers being shoved under the skin accompanied by this pulling sensation, tingling, burning, with weakness and fatigue."
Over time Individuals that do not receive adaquate treatment end up with severe joint degeneration which will halt their movement. Jessica is still very young, 32 this year. Her specialist has suggested she try several different types of treatments! Her specialist sternly warned her, and expressed grave concern over long-term condition issues and degeneration without adaquate treatment.
Jessica is loving, funny, kind and caring. Prior to becoming physically limited she was caring for others in our community. My wife worked as a Cna for a number of years as well as cared for children, friends, neighbors and family for over 15 years. Jessica had spent her days and nights nursing and caring for others young an old. My wife still takes time out of her week to call an check on those shes cared for.
