Please help Mom's medical/Leg fund

Donation protected

Just an update for everyone.
Mom was released from Baylor this past monday to come home for two months while the antibiotic runs its course on the infection. With high hopes that after the two months, we hope the the infection will be gone and we can get her re-admitted back into Baylor. Again, she is home and resting in bed and trying to make the best of everythig with smile on her face. I cant thank everyone enough that has read, shared, prayered and donated to help my family out in our time of need. Please keep passing the word around and continue to share and pray. We still have along ways to go and every little helps in a great big way.
It means the world to us.

Thank you, and much love to you all.

On September 26, 2014, my mom, Debbie Pugh, underwent a knee replacement surgery at Texas Spine and Joint Hospital in Tyler, TX. After the painful surgery and several nights under close watch at the hospital, she was released to come home. After two weeks recovering, the incision on her knee was reopened during a visit from a home health care company. This caused her leg to become infected. Her kidneys started shutting down after receiving treatment for the infection. She had to return for another surgery to remove the artificial knee to allow antibiotics to fight the infection for 2 months before doctors could try the knee replacement surgery again. She was moved to the long term care area of the hospital . She had another knee replacement surgery in early 2015. She was released to come home, but after several months the wound still hadn't closed.  She went to another doctor in Dallas and found out it was infected again.  She just went through another surgery to remove that artificial joint.  The doctor gave her 2 options:  knee fusion or amputation. With her insurance only paying small bits and pieces here and there, my parents have been forced to burn through all of their savings in order for her to undergo these surgeries. Any help would be greatly appreciated - whether it's prayers or a monetary donation.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and share with others.

-Michael
