Angela discovered a small tumor awhile back and was told by her family physician that it wasn’t anything to worry about. The tumor grew quickly and became very painful. September was very trying and at that time she was finally admitted into Barnes Jewish Hospital. She is now under the care of Dr William Hawkins in the Oncology department at Siteman Cancer Center. She is having a complex, very involved surgery as step one and her recovery will continue as a patient under Dr Hawkins. She has NO insurance and has already missed well over a month of work.
