Ava's Heart Surgery Fund

Ava is an 8 week old French Bulldog. She came to us from a breeder who gave her to us when she found out Ava had a heart murmur.. After taking Ava to the doggie cardiologist, we found out she will need heart surgery due for a genetic heart defect called Pulmonic Stenosis. Ava's growth has been stunted from the defect. She should weigh about 5 to 7 pounds but is weighing in at just 2.2 lbs. She is one tiny baby. Please help us raise the money to give Ava a shot at a happy, healthy life. Without this surgery, her life expectancy will be 3 to 5 years.. Veterinary Specialty Services in Manchester will be doing Ava’s surgery (if we raise enough money). Ava is in a foster home in Illinois, and is monetarily cared for by St. Louis Senior Dog Project. Diagnostics have already cost us $400. The surgery is estimated at a cost of $3,200 to $3,700.
