We are asking for your assistance to support our holiday fundraiser on behalf of the Maricopa Health Foundation. Velocity Retail Group’s Charity Foundation has partnered with MHF’s Arizona Burn Center and the Arizona Children’s Center to help provide toys, books and games to the children of all ages who are hospitalized during the holiday season.
The Arizona Burn Center is the only nationally verified burn center in Arizona and serves a broader regional area. The hospital treats over 900 inpatients, 3,500 outpatients and 1,500 emergency room patients annually, making it the second busiest burn center in the nation.
Since 2007, the Arizona Children’s Center (AzCC) has served the medical and surgical needs for children of all ages. With compassion at the core of its mission, the AzCC is committed to offering excellent comprehensive care to all children who live in Arizona, especially the underserved.
How can you help? You or your company can provide newly purchased toys, books and games for toddlers up through teens. Or, you can donate money which will be used to purchase items. A donation of $100 will provide for five children, a donation of $500 or more will brighten dozens of children’s lives.
