Jordan is a wild hearted, fun loving, strong willed 9 (Almost 10) year old little girl who recently found out she has a brain tumor. This is her journey...
On Wednesday, May 20th, Jordan was taken to the hospital with what seemed to be a persistant headache. Upon the completion of a head CT, a large mass was found in her brain. She was quickly moved to Phoenix Children's Hospital, where she would receive the rest of her care. An MRI was completed to learn more about the mass, which was soon thereafter being called a "tumor." On Thursday, May 21st, a small procedure was done to relieve the pressure of the fluid around the tumor as well as take several biopsies.
On Friday, May 29th, Jordan will undergo a much more invasive surgery in attempts to remove the majority of her tumor. Some of the tumor will be left behind due to the fact that it now resides in a part of Jordans brain where the neurosurgeons will not go, so this will be something that she will have to deal with for a long time if not the rest of her life. Jojo's Journey Along with all of the love, light, and prayers you can spare, the family is going to need a lot of help to get by financially during this trying time.
