No-Kill Shelter Fund!

Hey, folks! My birthday was 4/21 and I really wanted to do a Random Act of Kindness, but I couldn't settle on which one. Then, my son and his wife rescued a family of orphaned kittens, but we had no hope of taking them in. We didn't want to put them in a shelter because we wanted them to have a chance at being adopted, not being euthanized. Much to our surprise, we have four No-Kill Shelters in our area! How awesome is that?! We dropped the kittens off with a wonderful woman who promised the kittens would receive medical care, food, toys, love and attention until they found a FurEver home. When we were there, we saw how hard the staff try to care for so many abandoned animals of all kinds. There's so much need for EVERYTHING! The list seems endless and insurmountable, BUT! With your help, we can give these animals the life they need, to build trust, and socialize them to become adoptable to any loving and acceptable home. The No-Kill Shelters in my area all work together to ensure the animals are on rotation, so they always have somewhere to go, if one of the shelters runs out of funding, supplies, or space. Yes, the needs are endless, but the payoff is too big to ignore. So, in lieu of presents, birthday wishes, gift cards etc. I ask that you help me create safety , comfort, and joy for the most helpless among us. Somebody's future best friend will be very grateful. We will be purchasing toys, food, leashes, bowls, harnesses, treats, brushes, medical supplies, plushies, medical treatments (including spay/neuter, flea/tic treatment, minor surgeries etc.)

If we should exceed the projected amount, we will use those funds to relocate as many animals as we can, from kill shelters, to No-Kill shelters.
