Ellis' crash recovery fund

As some of you know, I recently had a pretty serious crash while skating. I broke two ribs, two vertibrae, and collapsed one of my lungs. There is likely additional damage in the area, but I have to go in for more imaging to determine exactly what that damage is. With decent luck and a lot of effort, I should make a pretty good recovery, as long as I can keep from making any mistakes within the next few critical weeks.

The unfortunate side of this is that I have no way to cover the entirety of my incoming medical bills. Just calculating the parts of the initial visit not covered by insurance, I have reached a low estimate of 5000.00. This, of course, doesnt even start to include physical therapy or living expenses, but Im trying to work through this one obstacle at a time.

My living situation is being graciously covered by my wonderful partner while i recover, but I am being forced to liquify pretty much every asset that I own to account for incoming bills. I will not be able to work any of the jobs I was involved with for quite a while, and when I can, I will be pretty far behind on everything. Due to my lack of mobility and spinal flexibility, I cant even keep up with my freelance art workload, although I am trying to prioritize my available energy into them (after recovery, of course)

I dont expect to pay for all of this through this campaign, and I dont feel like I have any right to ask you for money, but my back is against the wall on this one. I dont really have anywhere else to go.
